Mette Olufsen

A professor in mathematics at NC State University with an MS in mathematics in mathematics and computer science and a Ph.D. in applied and industrial mathematics from Roskilde University in Denmark. Conducted a variety of research publications in the dynamics of the cardiovascular, respiratory, and inflammatory systems using fluid dynamics and system-level models in addition to bio-mathematics, mathematical modeling, and combining models with actual data.
